From Bergquist & de Cook, 2022 ("Family Dictyodendrillidae" in Hooper & Van Soest, 2002): Comment should be made on the genus Pseudobasta Topsent (1931), erected to receive Spongia basta Lamarck. Bergquist (1980b) pronounced the specimen as unrecognisable except as belonging to the Dictyodendrillidae. [details]
