Taxonomic remark A homotypic synonym of Chrysothecopsis W. Conrad 1931 according to Index Nominum Genericorum. A near homonym of Chrysotheka Doflein, 1923 (sometimes also spelled Chrysotheca). The replacement names Chrysothecopsis W. Conrad, 1931 and Stephanoporos W. Conrad & Pascher, 1940 have both been proposed, the latter on the stated basis that Chrysothecopsis lacked a description, however according to INA and Nicholls & Wujek, 2015, there is sufficient description accompanying Chrysothecopsis for that name to stand. [details]
