A nom. cons. prop. vs. Bucklandia Sternberg, 1823 and Conites Sternberg, refer Doweld, 2012, however this proposal was rejected by the Nomenclature Committee on Fossils (Herendeen, 2016), although in the Summary of that paper the name was erroneously listed among the "15 generic names [which] are recommended for conservation". [details]
