From Doweld: the validation of the name Rhamnites Forbes by McIver and Basinger (1993) was nomenclaturally superfluous and resulted in the proposing of a later homonym since it was not based on Forbes’ original material from Scotland, but on North American Palaeocene fossil species Rhamnus cleburnii Lesquereux (1873: 381). [details]
