Taxonomic remark Zhang et al., 2021 list this genus as Disaccites Cookson, however according to other sources Cookson, 1947 introduced this name as a subturma within turma Saccites Erdrman, 1947. The authority for its use as a genus is not traced (and the usage is possibly invalid), however Palynodata lists 18 combinations in which it is used as a generic name. [details]
