Taxonomic remark Philippe & Bamford, 2008 list 2 other names as synonyms of Protocedroxylon, then (p. 196) state that Protocedroxylon is "a junior taxonomical synonym of Araucariopitys Hollick et Jeffrey (Kräusel, 1919: 189)." Possibly this last entry is an oversight, since in later works e.g. Philippe & Hayes, 2010, Protocedroxylon is treated as an accepted genus. [details]
