Taxonomic remark Nom. cons. Includes some species now assigned to Algae. Along with 7 other generic names in Fungi, Aime et al., 2018 proposed that this name be replaced by a later name (Uromyces in this case), with application to be made to the Nomenclature Committee for Fungi (NCF) for support. This name included (along with Uromyces) in Hyde et al., 2024, possibly in error. [details]
