Listed as Ochophyta incertae sedis in WoRMS/Algaebase. Based on "Monas (?) prodigiosa Ehr." according to Index Nominum Algarum; according to Breed & Breed, 1924 (J. Bacteriol. 9(6): 545-557) that species is another name for Serratia marcescens, a species of bacterium. [details]
