Taxonomic remark From DiatomBase: This name [Delicatophycus] replaces the name Delicata, which is invalid, "because it is a technical term, similar examples of which are given by ICN Art. 20.2, Ex. 4 (‘lanceolatus’ and ‘lobata’). As the generic designation is invalid, all designations at the species and infraspecific levels are also invalid (Wynne, 2019, p. 1). [details]
