Taxonomic remark ION / Nomenclator Zoologicus have the spelling of this genus as Aristina from the same work; presently the online version of that work currently reads Aristena. Whether the name was originally published as Aristina and changed without trace to avoid homonymy with Aristina Ozerov, 2012 (Diptera), as implied in an equivalent record in WoRMS for that spelling, or whether the spelling simply represents an error in ION (which has no entry for Aristena) is not clear. [details]
