Taxonomic remark Misspelling of Belinurus König, 1825 (Nomenclator Zoologicus) also given as König, 1820 (Størmer, 1955, in Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology), however König's plates (for his volume 2) were not published until 1851(?) so the names in them were unavailable before this date (correct attribution for Belinurus is Bronn, 1839). Bellinurus (with double "l") is a misspelling attributed to various authors (Nomenclator Zoologicus attributes it to Meek & Worthen, 1865, however it appears to be correctly attributed to Pictet, 1846).
