From other sources
Taxonomic remark West et al., 2013, list this name twice, first in the synonymy of Leiospongia de Laubenfels, 1955, = Cassianochaetetes Engeser & Taylor, 1989, and second, in the synonymy of Leiospongia d’Orbigny, 1849, Since it is unclear which of these assertions is correct, IRMNG presently follows the second, which makes more sense on chronological grounds.
