Taxonomic remark Invalid name (jun. homonym, refer ICZN Index). (See Orqueta Jordan 1919. (Nomen. Zool.). As "Micropteryx polycentrus nov. sp. vel potius nov. gen. Micropus polycentrus." Also appeared as new in Kner 1868. Objectively invalid; preoccupied four times, replaced by Orqueta Jordan 1919. On Official Index (Opinion 502).
