Taxonomic remark From Saxena et al., 2021: According to Kalgutkar & Jansonius (2000), different species of Dictyosporites are comparable to the conidia of some modern genera like Alternaria, Dictyosporium, Septosporium and Stemphylium, all belonging to dematiaceous hyphomycetes, and the ascospores of Pleospora.
