Taxonomic remark Published in Freiberger Forschungshefte C 222: 54. 13 Jan 1969; non Virgimparicutis G. Roselt et W. Schneider, Paläontol. Abh., Abt. B, Paläobot. 3: 76. Feb 1969, a different taxon. A homotypic synonym of Palaquiophyllum H. Weyland & K. Kilpper 1963 according to Index Nominum Genericorum. This name was apparently used (Jan 1969) in advance of Roselt & Schneider's intended publication of the same as a new name elsewhere (Feb 1969), and Palaquiophyllum tenuetorosum H. Weyland & K. Kilpper 1963, the type species of Palaquiophyllum, transferred into it, making this name a nomenclatural synonym of Palaquiophyllum. [details]
