Taxonomic remark emend. pro Solenichthys Bleeker 1865 (Nomen. Zool.). Replacement for or incorrect subsequent spelling of Solenichthys Bleeker 1865; but appears to be a replacement for Solenostoma or Solenostomus; apparently Bleeker changed his Solenichthys to the spelling Solenostomatichthys. Possibly published in 1874. (Eschmeyer). [details]
