This name not used in Adl et al., 2019, who place its two component families (Chromeraceae and Vitrellaceae) in order Colpodellida (unplaced in Alveolata) together with the non-photosynthetic families Colpodellida ("Colpodellaceae") and Alphamonaceae, however continues to be used in some more recent works.
